Bethel SDA School was established in 1946 with the view to providing a Christian education to students in the church and the wider community. Over its more than 75-year history the school has trained people in every profession and continues to perform its role of educating the head, heart and hands. The school serves students from 3 years to 13 years. It follows the seventh-day Adventist curriculum of study which takes into account the curriculum of the state where the school is located. At the Bethel School students are taught all of the subjects that one would find in a public school. Students are also taught to be good citizens and to form relations with their Lord, Jesus Christ.
Bethel SDA School is a part of a sisterhood of schools which is the world’s second largest integrated network of schools, with more than 7,500 schools worldwide enrolling more than 1.8 million students. United States and Canada: 852 (13 Tertiary Institutions, 111 Secondary Schools, 728 Primary Schools). Since the 1850s, when the first Adventist school was formed, Adventists have believed that education should be redemptive in nature, with the purpose of restoring human beings to the image of God, the Creator. Adventist education also includes a focus on mental, physical, social, and spiritual health; as well as intellectual growth and service to humanity.
The Bethel School is currently open for business and conducting in-person learning from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm daily. Space is available in all grades and social distancing is practiced.
